The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I need to rewatch that.

Hey, did anyone end up watching Men of a certain age? How was it?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Is Middlesex also from this decade? I really liked that book. The writing didn't stand out for me, but I found the subject matter fascinating as the plot unfolded.

I thoroughly enjoyed Middlesex as well. I did think the writing was beautiful in a lot of spots, and it was like several stories in one.

When they showed him cooking? Delish.

These peaches won't poach themselves! (still my favorite line)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Ohhh, the last Hutton picture is nummy. I have crushed on him for years.

If I end up staying home tomorrow, I think I need a Leverage marathon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Perkins sent me some Timothy Hutton pictures that day she said she was "cleaning" at home. I haven't gone through most of the pictures of boys she sent me yet, but I did toss up some Hutton just now.

These peaches won't poach themselves!

Ah, cranky Eliot doing hot things. Only beaten by techy Hardison doing geeky things. But it's a close race.

it was like several stories in one.

It did play out in multiple strands. I liked that.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

But it's a close race.

It's a race I have to replay in my head time and time again. I think they might be getting tired, but I don't care.
