Speaking of TJ, I checked the ingredients for the Trader Joe's Chicken Tikka Masala and was surprised to find that they actually use ghee. Maybe that's why it tastes so good.
my love of Owen Meany
Another favorite.
I want spicy food. Bad idea. I hate dental work. I am whiny tonight. My tongue hurts.
omg fight scene hot.
The ending of Owen Meany was like bells going off. It pleased me on so many levels. Anything I hadn't liked in the book so far came resoundingly into its own, and it all felt so earned. I didn't get that feeling of well-earned resolution from Lovely Bones.
Is Middlesex also from this decade? I really liked that book. The writing didn't stand out for me, but I found the subject matter fascinating as the plot unfolded.
Neil Gaiman doesn't need recommending here-if you're going to read him and haven't, you know. But I encourage people who appreciated the West Indian slant of Anansi Boys to check out Nalo Hopkinson's work. Her SFF is steeped in the Caribbean.
Watching Leverage, msbelle? Episode 7? Because, YES. Chick, hot.
yep. CK has never really hit me hard. but damn.
I finally found something to like about Sophie, her clothes.
CK can hit me hard. Eliot is yummy. When they showed him cooking? Delish.
I found a group of work guys around whom I do not clutch my pearls. Implied doggie sex jokes had me in tears. Not in my department, though. Which might be for the best. I'm jovial around my dept, but not that much sharing and joking. And animal sex would be creepy weird.
