"no one will go out with me" is a completely different complaint than "I can't find someone I like". I think most people fall in the later, but saying the former is easier.
People who are actually asking a lot of people out and getting nothing but rejections? Hate to blame the victim, but when it's everyone else, it's probably you.
My youngest nephew blew my mind when I first saw him on vacation--he'll be 13 in November, and he's almost as tall as me already!
At Nate's physical on Tuesday, they measured him. He's 5'1". I'm 5'2 1/2". He's absurdly pleased by the likelihood that by Christmas, he'll be taller than me.
A completely unrelated blog post, but also with good comments (amusing, in this case): [link]
That is completely awesome!

Same can be said of people who complain about their bosses or their co-workers or the customers at EVERY job they have.
They aren't, actually, nice guys.
That link would have been very helpful to me 25 years ago....
DDOS is Distributed Denial of Service Attack. I have no idea what the "distributed" part means.

"They are leech-men at best." BWAH!
Sounds like a pretty great day.
The whole week's been pretty good.
Yesterday we organized our entire schedule around going to In 'N Out Burger for lunch and then got new Legos.
On Monday, after watching Blade II we had cardboard tube duels in the back yard and shot at each other with nerf darts. Then in the evening we picked up Matilda and ran around the football field with her chasing the nerf football.
DVDs watched this week: Romy & Michelle, The Matrix, The Bourne Identity, Blade II, Wayne's World.
So I've been thinking of my dateless college days... I remember going to the library and looking up "dating" in the card catalog in an effort to figure out what I was doing wrong (I figured there were some societal norms of dating that I just didn't know about).
I also used to be very nervous around women I was attracted to, so I'd always plan ahead what I was going to say, how I was going to ask her out, etc. Oh, and back then I had a fairly bad stutter to contend with too. Looking back, I'm not surprised I very rarely had dates then....
Dear internal organs,
Really? Today? Srsly? You want to go haywire right this minute? Not.on.

I'm pretty sure my multitude of bad bosses have actually been bad bosses.... For one thing, they have been bad in different ways. For another, I have had good bosses too, so I do know what that looks like.
Also, I just got bit by something I didn't see, and now my finger's swelling up and I don't like it. I think I'd better go home.
