Our wings are not tired.

Good plan Ouise. I have a baby afghan I started for my first baby that I plan to finish when I have a grandchild on the way.

Congratulations Nora and Kira!

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I have a baby afghan I started for my first baby that I plan to finish when I have a grandchild on the way.

Makes sense to me!

Dude, it's COLD up there.

Ok, fair point. In fact, sweaters have been necessary for FAR TOO MUCH of this summer. Hmph. At least August has been better (so far). t /grumble

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh Dana, I want to go NOW!!!!

Also, internet dating is kind of mental. There's just SO MUCH stupid.

Can I just say something horribly arrogant? Okay. I will.

Please to explain why people who seem ridiculously stupid (and I mean, cannot spell, admit that they don't read, TYPE IN ASSCAPS, have absolutely NOTHING in common with me) why do are these the only people I attract? Why?

Seriously, do they not see the disconnect? I just need some plausible theories. Do they not see that there's a deep chasm between someone who writes books and works in aerospace and someone who works in mall security and writes to me in chatspeak and thinks that's acceptable english?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, I'm not that much into motorcycles, but go here [link] and click on the pictures of a very drool-worthy bike....

I go through this every time I do this, right?

Maybe I should just chronicle it on LJ and I can remind myself before I sign up again.

Maybe sorta'....

Maybe have a blog where you chronicle this, and put the URL to your blog in your ad - perhaps that would deter some of the Asscaps responses....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The asscaps people reply to EVERYONE and there are a lot of them, so you will get replies from them right away. They are the online equivalent of guys who make comments when you walk by--as if that EVER got a guy a date in the history of dating. They are too stupid to figure out that waht they are doing isn't ever gonna work. The smarter guys, the ones you will be interested in and vice versa are fewer and also will take their time to respond.

Just remember what my therapist used to day to me--yeah, there are a lot of awful or married or broken or totally uninterested guys out there, but you don't have to win over those guys. In the end it only takes one.

Scrappy is wise.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You're so right, Scrappy.
