we had leftover Subway sandwiches - bleagh. But, I didn't have to cook, or clean up.
Yum. Note to self: more greens, less beans. But damn was that good. And now I've got that lingering burny sensation from all the hot pepper I put in. Nom.
Hey shrift, you interested in going to see Lucero on the 15th? Also I think Nicole and/or Ellen may be in town that weekend.
I'm thinking about ordering in some barbeque chicken or maybe a pizza.
I was just looking to see what was on tv tonight, and I'm looking forward to seeing an older (2000) episode of Secrets of the Dead on one of the secondary PBS stations. I bought the book that the show is based on, but I've never seen the documentary. (It's called "Catastrophe," and it's about a worldwide weather phenomenon, possibly caused by an eruption of Krakatoa, in 535 that led to massive upheaval in cultures around the world, including the rise of Islam in the following century.)
We ordered in Thai cause we were both too lazy to cook anything. Nummy green curry.

Unfortunately, that's VividCon weekend, so I will be in Rosemont. And missing a Fall Out Boy show that same day. Right after that, I'm off to San Francisco.

Whee!
The potatoes came out fantastiche! I topped with a dollop of Russian yogurt. So good.
Now we're having very ripe white peaches. Summer food.
Chicken and lamb schwarma for me, eggplant salad for dad and vegetable kabob for mom. White plums for dessert.
Am in Atlanta. Gracious host is making chicken stir-fry with fresh veggies, and home-made apple sorbet (lactose-free for me, IntolerantMan). Mmmmmm...
Later: the Eagle for debauchery. Am I amused it's cooler here than back at home?
Very.
