Not weeks. DAYS.
Good god. What about people who have C-sections?! Also, what Aims asked.

Two days? How is that even possible?
So clearly this company's maternity policies were based on watching Monty Python's The Meaning of Life...
The NY office has less than 50 employees, and I'll have been there less than a year so FMLA doesn't apply.
[eta: There is a provision to use accrued PTO to take more time off, but even that only gets me up to 3-4 weeks, max.]
Otherwise, how is it possible for women to work there?
Bingo.
My god, they really don't like the miracle of life, do they? That's Maggie Thatcheresque.
ita, I would wear pastels more if I could find 50s sundresses that would fit me. Especially if they were sea foam green or lavender. I do have the perfect brown shoes (for me). They're flats. And they aren't made anymore. Which is sad because I have them in both brown and black, and the black ones are worn out. So I have to get new black flats, and I can't get these perfect ones anymore.
I've started incorporating a lot more brown into my wardrobe in the past few years than ever before.
Two days? How is that even possible?
That sounds like our Paternity leave policy...but moms get more time.
Crazy.
Two days? Two mother fucking days?
Check with HR on FMLA, Jess. Of course the unpaid part sucks.
That is just utter bullshit.
Ah yes, the craptacity of parental leave policies. The small companies I have worked for were willing to adhere to FMLA, but I put off the adoption work 2 times because of changing jobs and needing to get in a year with each to even qualify for it.
