I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Grrr. I have an old cross-stitch kit that has all of the floss in two bags and a list of color names, but no indication of what color is meant by the name. I've been looking online for conversion charts complete with color, but the one I've found says that "forest green" is a rather pale green, not the dark green that I always mean when I say "forest green." And what the hell is "pale dusky green" supposed to be?!?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

CW's website sucks. That is all.

I am about to lose at scrabble with my sister again...I keep finding cool words that I have to use instead of looking for points.

My mom stomped my ass at Scrabble last Sunday. Twice. So much for me being the English major.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are a stressed-out house tonight. Just finished packing for a business trip to Minneapolis tomorrow, after a freak-out about not having the right clothes, which entailed a trip to the mall--twice. I threw my back out (which I never do--I am lucky, backwise) and hope it's okay by 5:00am, which is when I have to get up to make my flight. Poor DH is out walking the dogs, and then comes back to work on a freelance project due tomorrow, so it looks like he will be going to bed right around when I am getting up.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

By the way, Jilli, you are a rock star.

Awww, thank you!

I'm all reading your book and thinking that 28 is an excellent time to grow into my Gothiness.

It is! Go forth in quest of black eyeliner and velvety clothes!

Let me introduce you all to the joy that is not caring about baseball. It is sublime.

You are so, so right.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I hope it is just a tweak, scrappy.

I never play regular scrabble, I just don't spell well enough. But online it won't let me put up a misspelled word.

But I wish I could figure out the logic for foreign words...

Oof, Scrappy. We hates early early flights, we do...good luck.

I am very jealous of the dessert-having of y'all! I went to a dinner party, and was told there would be dessert, and it turned out to be decorating sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. Which, cool and all, but we didn't eat them, and wouldn't have wanted to. So, not dessert. Grrrr....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Though, did you notice she has already updated her name and status on FB?

Her DH changed his status too. AWWWWW
