congratulations lisa!!!!!
why have most shoes gone to a molded rubber sole that cannot be repaired/replaced? hate that.
I am so dissappointed to hear this. I drag my right foot, and was thinking about trying to get my Dansko's re-soled because the right edge of my right heel is worn down over half an inch. I feel like if I pay over $100 for shoes, they should last a lifetime, with maintenance, of course.

That seems very civil and on point. Sheesh. On the one hand - yay that Grace has caregivers that have a proprietary sense about her well being. On the other hand - WTF?! Why would they treat you like you'd cheated or done something injurious? Basically as if you were guilty of something. It's not like you're a pair of abusive, crackheads trying to scam some Social Security money by taking her home.
What the fucking fuck?
And because it deserves its own post: Happy engagement to the ultra-fab lisah! What a wonderful proposal story.
Oh, and Happy birthday Ginger!!!
And that is crazy, Kat! I don't understand what was expected of you in the first place, and clearly the nurses are not at all on the same page with each other if they left you along for 36 hours, and then wanted to check on you.
David, yep. I was pretty outraged over her initial response. The truth seems to be that they were pretty negligent. And luckily for Grace we already knew what we were doing for the most part. But we aren't the typical parent at the facility and I wonder how they handle those who never grasp that 160mg/5ml of tylenol is the solution and not the dosage amount and you have to calculate how much to give? I mean, do those people draw up meds and just administer them without anyone watching?
My responsibility, of course, is not to fix it for everyone, but man. It was weird.
Happy birthday, Ginger! With cake!
Huge congratulations, lisah! Your guy is getting an awesome spouse.
Kat, I left feedback in LJ.
I just watched the first FNL of the season. Nice set up for the season, but that ending was
kind of heartbreaking.
Yeah, I watched that yesterday and I agree. I was a little stunned when the credits rolled.
I know, Perkins! I yelled when the credits rolled because I couldn't believe that was the end.
