Oh, and Happy birthday Ginger!!!
And that is crazy, Kat! I don't understand what was expected of you in the first place, and clearly the nurses are not at all on the same page with each other if they left you along for 36 hours, and then wanted to check on you.
David, yep. I was pretty outraged over her initial response. The truth seems to be that they were pretty negligent. And luckily for Grace we already knew what we were doing for the most part. But we aren't the typical parent at the facility and I wonder how they handle those who never grasp that 160mg/5ml of tylenol is the solution and not the dosage amount and you have to calculate how much to give? I mean, do those people draw up meds and just administer them without anyone watching?
My responsibility, of course, is not to fix it for everyone, but man. It was weird.
Happy birthday, Ginger! With cake!
Huge congratulations, lisah! Your guy is getting an awesome spouse.
Kat, I left feedback in LJ.
I just watched the first FNL of the season. Nice set up for the season, but that ending was
kind of heartbreaking.
Yeah, I watched that yesterday and I agree. I was a little stunned when the credits rolled.
I know, Perkins! I yelled when the credits rolled because I couldn't believe that was the end.
There were no
Paul Gross Arms.
I was expecting to make
Paul Gross Arms.
I gotta say, the
East Dillon Lions field (and game) was a lot more like my high school football memories than the Panthers (which is funny, because my h.s. team was the Panthers))
Kat, I might tighten up the letter a bit. Or put in a summary that basically we went in with very little understanding of how things were going to work, we were left alone for the first 36 hours unless we looked for help, and then in the last 12 hours suddenly watched like we were going to do something harmful.
That sounds terrifying in so many ways -- starting with the what if you do something wrong, what if we don't pass , and what if we fail due to a protocol issue. My sympathies to you and Kate .
