oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Something office related. A nice pen, like maybe the fancy wood ones, for example.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Maybe Harry & David type goodies?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy... Standard Time, everyone!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

For some reason, Halloween made me think of "Dogs in Elk", and so I just went and re-read it. The hilarity sure stands up over time, and I also get a kick out of seeing lori in there!

information libertarian

Probably because of the team at MIT that recreated Dogs in Elk with a pumpkin carving. And, wow, that was 10 years ago. Probably the dogs are no longer living. But happily romping in elk carcasses somewhere in the great beyond.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think she's adorable and that the camera loves her, but I'm biased.

Dude, no. Your child is ridiculously "I will dominate your face!" photogenic.

Agreed. I am consistently blown away by how incredibly gorgeous and expressive that child is.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Definetely agreed.

I started getting a pretty bad migraine (by my measurement, not ita measurement) at about 2:00 yesterday afternoon, so I've been asleep at least 11 out of the last 16 hours.

I may never need to sleep again.

Yes, the pumpkins! I had forgotten.

And I missed the post, but Plei, your daughter is the most photogenic child I have ever seen. I imagine she is also that cute in person.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

An odd case where reading the comments is worth it - this article about Andre Agassi wearing a wig in the 90's only took 25 comments to devolve into a raging flame war about Obama's place of birth (with a healthy side helping of racism and anti-semitism). Record derail!

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

So I think no chocolate, no wine or booze, no candy, no flowers nothing that could feel too personal. Something that shows appreciation for a good client but with no vibe. Given the circumstances I need to choose something that is really unambigous about being a gift for a good customer, and not overly personal.

I've sent cookie assortments to nice clients I am grateful for. Still yummy, but without any of the dating connotations of candy since it's more the sort of gift that grandmas send.
