We've had I'd guess about 70-75. I lost count. Still coming. Best costumes were a group of middle school girls from the neighborhood - some really creative and artistics ones - and twin African-American Doras with big pompadour wigs.
Loki ran up the stairs each time, but Devi actually stayed out and watched, which is so unlike her. I do think she was unnerved because at one point she came and sat on my lap and she never does that. Ever.
CTV, one of the national networks is showing the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It seems a little odd. I wonder what those playing along at home will do for audience participation fun during the commercials.

Almost 17 pounds of gluttonus love
Perkins the cat (17 or 18 lbs at least) has developed a new habit of wanting to get the exact same attention Ditaboo (maybe 8 lbs) just did, which is great if it's just getting pet for a minute or so, but not so great when it comes to walking across my boobs to curl up against my neck.
I wish it would just - poof - appear.
Isn't that why God created delivery?

Deep in the Luray Caverns in Virginia... there are sounds that might wake the Old Ones if played properly (or if Pippin drops a bunch of stuff down the hole). It is played by striking huge stalactites all around the cavern with felt hammers, producing sombre, sonorous tones....
