A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

The little hill my apartment is on is completely fogged in. It is not making me want to get dressed and go out.

I miss the fog. It's one of the few things I miss about my old neighborhood. That, and the Harry Potter Street on Halloween.

not dressing for Halloween (didn't last year either), we didn't get a jack-o-lantern done (but we do have the pumpkins) and did not get up any decorations. and I LOVE Halloween, just no energy/time for it this year.

msbelle is me this year. Working ridiculous hours is part of it, but I think it's mostly knowing that I won't get trick-or-treaters in this building. In my old place, we would get hundreds of trick-or-treaters because of spillover from the Harry Potter street. And I do mean hundreds (the first year I had no idea and had to run out for more candy).

Instead, I have decided to get out and about by hiking on the appropriately named Mt. Diablo.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Not only am I wearing outside pants, I am actually outside! Where it is about 65. Weird, but nice.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We're handing out candy tonight and then going to a zombie bar crawl in Northern Kentucky.

I anticipate eating many brains.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tonight we're having dinner with G's mom. Whee.

It's nearly four in the afternoon and I'm just dressed. I did manage to do the jack o lantern for the window and put candy in a bowl though. And then began eating said candy.

Tis the season! Happy Hallowe'en all!

information libertarian

It's warm and muggy and so damp it couldn't be wetter if it were actually raining. Bleah.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just bought pillows from overstock, and am ridiciously proud of myself that I remembered to check the emails they keep sending me for coupons, because I saved a whole $6.90!

Because books.

It poured rain here this morning, but it looks like it might clear up in time for trick-or-treating. We still have to carve/paint pumpkins, too.

Swouncing

Skipping on the other side of shabbat, because according to the Buffista Calendar, today is DCJencen's birthday.

Happy birthday, Daniel! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also, IIRC, it's Jilli and Pete's anniversary, so lots of wishes for the both of them, as well!

And, of course, Halloween - what do you wish for that? Happy? Scary? Great-costume-y? Trick-or-treat-y? Whichever it is, I wish that to all of you who celebrate it!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday Daniel and happy anniversary to Pete and Jilli!

We are carving pumpkins at some point today. Isaac would like that point to be right now.

So I think we are not seeing extended family for thanksgiving or christmas.

Is that a sad thing? I am always torn at holiday time between wanting to see my family and wanting to escape them.
