I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why anti-Morris dancing? It's related to sword dancing (which my mother did, randomly) which is cool.

Not doing anything Halloweeny this year. Some people dressed up at work, but that's so not my speed.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

That's the last kind of dancing you should be doing randomly.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I gather it's anti- because it's not done on the traditional Morris day plus girlz are NOT not allowed, et cetera.

Sounds more like semi-Morris to me, but hey, I didn't title it....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The little hill my apartment is on is completely fogged in. It is not making me want to get dressed and go out.

Our wings are not tired.

Perkins, your office pictures were awesome. What fun!

I'm still not dressed and it is later here. I should do something about that.

What fun!

It really was. In the afternoon, a lot of the parents brought their costumed kids in to go trick or treating, and then there was a little party.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I miss the fog. It's one of the few things I miss about my old neighborhood. That, and the Harry Potter Street on Halloween.

not dressing for Halloween (didn't last year either), we didn't get a jack-o-lantern done (but we do have the pumpkins) and did not get up any decorations. and I LOVE Halloween, just no energy/time for it this year.

msbelle is me this year. Working ridiculous hours is part of it, but I think it's mostly knowing that I won't get trick-or-treaters in this building. In my old place, we would get hundreds of trick-or-treaters because of spillover from the Harry Potter street. And I do mean hundreds (the first year I had no idea and had to run out for more candy).

Instead, I have decided to get out and about by hiking on the appropriately named Mt. Diablo.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Not only am I wearing outside pants, I am actually outside! Where it is about 65. Weird, but nice.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We're handing out candy tonight and then going to a zombie bar crawl in Northern Kentucky.

I anticipate eating many brains.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tonight we're having dinner with G's mom. Whee.
