I have late coverage today; I've got to stay until 7:00pm.

“Not dead yet!”

In waiting to hear back from Adrienne, Agent of Awesomeness (Perhaps I should just start referring to her as Triple A?) I have resorted to cleaning (yesterday), laundry (yesterday) and today, contacting people about puppies I really shouldn't consider adopting and cruising Zillow and Front Door for homes in Seattle.

And twitching.

I'm the only one in my group left. Everyone else went home or is on vacation. Three hours to go for me.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Three hours to go for me.

Ugh. Time-passage-ma to you.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Sir Richard Branson and Zaphod Beeblebrox, separated at birth?

That's terrifying...

Aaand the electrician tracked red clay all over my rugs. Nice. Really nice. I could get a ticket to where I'd rather be for between $1 and 3K, depending on where I chose.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I have 59 minutes to go. I volunteered to watch the help desk this afternoon, so I can't sneak off early. Instead I'm just sitting here watching the thunderstorms sprout on weather.com's NC radar.

Zaphod's similarity to Sir Richard is probably not a coincidence.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What's better:
Jolly Ranchers' Blue Raspberry or Blue Raspberry Tootsie pop
Twizzlers or Red Vines
Peanut butter M&Ms or Reese's pieces
