Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I mean, I understand that I'm supposed to do it, but the movers said they don't pay a lot of tickets in Boston, so maybe I'll just risk it?

Dither dither dither!! I love a good dither.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The reason I joined facebook was to reconnect with cousins.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Facebook has helped me reconnect with a cousin or two, too.

Of course, it may also lead to me visiting Michigan's Upper Peninsula in March, so it's sort of a mixed bag.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I cancelled a paid off credit card today and got no pushback from the company. That has never happened before. They didn't even ask for a reason.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You're not a money-maker for them, since you paid off your credit card and therefore aren't racking up interest.

Well sure. Hopefully the same thing will happen with the next one I cancel.

I am going from 4 cards with balances to 2 and from 6 cards total to 4.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, I saw the saddest thing: a beagle so fat that it could barely move.

Teeny tiny head, legs and tail and a barrel for a body.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Gah, I have good friends who have a dog like that. It makes it really difficult for me to even be around them. It's entire life, they've just been constantly flipping it treats to the point where it can barely play or breath comfortably. Ugh.
