Because books.

After all the fun I had last weekend, this weekend is work, work, and more work.

Although I may take a break on Sunday and take Sara to get her ears her pierced.

Weekend: I have no idea. Stop asking hard questions, Perkins!

::is having a day::

SORRY!

But isn't the answer always going to be "spend time with my too adorable for words child"?

The weekend I just don't know. Probably some cleaning, hopefully some writing, maybe some video editing, and something with the kids though that will probably be cleaning since their rooms are in the crosshairs.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

You know, I really believe that people should live and let live, and I don't like to get vitriolic, but ARE THESE BIRTHER PEOPLE IDIOTS?!?! I mean, it seems like a rational question since his father is not American, but after proof is produced, what the heck! I thought George Bush was an infantile egomaniacal moron who probably stole the election, but after the Supreme Court decided in his favor I shut up about it and concentrated on bitching about the actual things he was doing that I thought were wrong. Also, if you are going to get that worked up about something, why don't we make it something meaningful like I don't know, helping other people! Seriously, if you have that much energy to devote to getting worked up, go help a shelter or a soup kitchen make some money or help animals or Veterans or whatever group you believe in!

You know what I love?

Being told two months after I start a project that I did the initial part wrong because I didn't do something that I had never been told to do.

eta: it turned out not to matter, but still. We're information specialists. Try giving me the information I need.

Sophia, let's rant together.

I mean CONGRESS had to WASTE TIME PASSING A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING HIS CITIZENSHIP.

Has that *ever* happened to any other President? I can't find evidence of it.

I don't know where to send them, though - just somewhere ELSE, on the other side of a nice WALL (like in Rucker's SCIFI, we could exile them to Florida) and leave them there to stew in their own hypocrisy and madness.

This is why I plot to take over the world, BTW. I'm much saner than they are.

Well, yes! And her little dog, too.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

ARE THESE BIRTHER PEOPLE IDIOTS?!?!

Oh hell yeah.

Is this the what-I'm-having-for-lunch thread? I had appointments all morning, so I decided to swing by a favorite restaurant and get lunch to go before heading back home to work.

From here, I got 1/2 an Avocado Bliss sandwich (with turkey instead of tofu), and 1/2 a Blue Gingered Pear salad. Oh dear god is that yummy.

Not really, it was just a routine thing for a state anniversary. Slipping in the thing about it being the birthplace of Obama was a clever political move, but not really out of place either.

This does seem to be an amazingly dumb movement though.

I have to stop thinking about it, because it makes me so angry and I do not like being angry.

My boss says anger drives her to do good things, but for me it just makes me a) sick and b) unpleasant to be around.

And I am so annoyed that this teacher of ours, who I liked well enough is posting asinine things about Islam, the "false religion" and Obama and tea parties. I shut her off, and I still see her on the side, and I can't defriend her because I work with her, and she talks to me.
