Oy - apparently protesters have "locked down" Television Centre at the BBC and staff are being warned not to leave the building! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES, BBC EMPLOYEES!!!!

(Except that, according to the co-worker I just got off the phone with, the protesters are "just a load of dodgy students" and they "breached security" by getting into...the reception area of the lobby. Where they were immediately escorted back outside by building security.)

I completely understand taking precautions, as the situation could very easily turn ugly, but the increasingly alarmist emails flooding my inbox right now are making it very hard to take seriously.

See, I had a skirt picked out, and my new brown tights, but my tights are way darker than my skirt, and I thought that looked odd.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I was in the kitchen at 7am this morning, pulling the skin off of chicken thighs. I decided I want to start cooking, one dinner a week. I picked a crockpot recipe which looked good, [link] but I didn't think of the prep and my own lack of what you call your knife skills. I think it would have taken a few minutes for all of you cheftastic buffistas, but I was in there swearing and chopping for an hour and was late to work.
