this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Am I the only person who thinks about these things? At 7 in the morning?

I have to pick out my clothes the night before, because my brain doesn't function well enough at 7 a.m. to find matchy clothes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

my brain doesn't function well enough at 7 a.m. to find matchy clothes.

This is where wearing all black comes in handy.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I was in the kitchen at 7am this morning, pulling the skin off of chicken thighs. I decided I want to start cooking, one dinner a week. I picked a crockpot recipe which looked good, [link] but I didn't think of the prep and my own lack of what you call your knife skills. I think it would have taken a few minutes for all of you cheftastic buffistas, but I was in there swearing and chopping for an hour and was late to work.

Our wings are not tired.

You guys, I know it's probably a weird coincidence, but I was reading about the poor little girl killed in Florida, and in the article her aunt is named Laura H. Is this our Laura? I don't know if she reads both Natter and Spike, so am going to ask in both places.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

This is where wearing all black comes in handy.

But there are different shades of black! Just like my different shades of brown dilemma.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, I hope not.

I just found an article that said the girl's aunt is 43, and I don't think that's the age of our Laura. FYI.
