Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have offered students $5 if they can draw a triangle with 2 right angles. $10 for a triangle with 2 obtuse (but not reflex) angles.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Once they figure out how to draw in the 7th dimension you are gonna be so broke.

If you have a black hole handy, this may be possible.

It's possible to have a triangle with two right angles -- on the surface of a sphere.

people are pissing me off in my office. If people email you wanting an answer, then get back to them. If they start calling me asking for answers I am not running interference for you. seriously.

also, other department, if you need an answer from my boss and he is not in the office, do not ask me about it. I am the assistant, not a decision-maker. honestly. Contact someone at the next level down, call the boss' cell, tattle to your superior, whatever, don't wuss around passive-aggressive with me.

If a student did this I'd likely pay up, and then talk about 2-d vs 3-d vs 4-d. Maybe gravity, too.

Quick, folks:

"...and therein lies his ethical position..."

"...and therein lays his ethical position..."

Word says "lays" (snicker, 12 years old), but "lies" sounds more, I don't know...right.
