Yes indeed. It's a memoir about ... how much this guy thinks we should all believe in God, and REJECT SATAN.

Ok, now I'm curious... What is dry drunk behavior?
Someone who isn't an alcoholic who drinks (either an alcoholic who quit drinking, or someone who was never an alcoholic but was raised by one/married to one/etc.), but whose behavior/thought/relationship patterns are still damaging/abusive/destructive, etc.
Dr. Google could probably elaborate better than I can.

I was going to ask the same. I recall the phrase being used to describe GWB as well.
There are certain obsessive characteristics associated with alcoholics such as lying, an overwhelming need to be right and being hypercritical of others that often still characterize people who have stopped drinking. I used to say I should make buttons to sell to Alanon that said "Sober is not enough."
Yeah, I knew what a dry drunk was, I guess I meant more what you meant by the typical behaviors, what was so typical/ what are those ?
(more what Ginger said)
Who among us does not have an overwhelming need to be right? I mean, we're Buffistas!
(We have a family thing where mr. flea says, "Oh well, right again," to me in his best Laurie Anderson imitation. I told him and the children last weekend in the car that the only reason I'm right so much is that when I don't know what's going on, I shut up. I only say stuff when I know what I'm talking about.)

If Ginger's answer wasn't enough, I have to refer you to Dr. Google, because I am not an authority on alcoholic behavior; only that which I've personally experienced.
And this controlling bullshit, expecting literal perfection and then punishing you when you couldn't deliver (because who can?) -- that's alcoholic/dry drunk behavior. Or, I should say, that behavior is not uncommon among some, though of course not all, alcoholics/dry drunks.
the only reason I'm right so much is that when I don't know what's going on, I shut up. I only say stuff when I know what I'm talking about.
Flea is me.
As my aunt likes to say: "J'ai pas toujours raison, mais j'ai rarement tort." (I'm not always right, but I'm seldom wrong).
My grandfather used to say, "I once thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken."
Timelies all!
