Big!Boss once told me that his father was an alcoholic, and I've often thought that he himself is a "dry drunk." And, honestly, this kind of behavior is *classic* alcoholic/dry drunk behavior. I recognize it SO well.
And it doesn't excuse it, for lo, it is BULLSHIT.
