Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Congrats Jessica to you and the whole family!

Mmm, I got to hang out with a newborn yesterday. Such a magical age.

hip deep in pie

Congrats Jessica!

My boss had his dog at the office today. It's part bichon frise, part shih tzu, and the most mellow dog I ever met.

There were reports of sleet here, but I am ignoring them.

Also, I am just over my cold, and feeling like another one is coming on.

Trust my rage

I saw 2 3-day old babies at the peds office today (while trying to keep Frisco from even looking in their direction). So cute and squishy.

Our wings are not tired.

And OMG, I so remember that first trimester of wanting to do nothing but sleep.

When I was expecting Bobby I complained that I was soooooo much more tired than I had been the first time around. The doctor reminded me that I didn't have a toddler to take care of the first time.

So exciting! When the time comes D will enjoy feeling the new baby kick, but get mad when it doesn't kick at his whim.

Whee! More baby Buffistas!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Congratulations on your forthcoming chicken!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I remember when my aunt was pregnant with her second child. We were visiting their house for the day, and during lunch, their son Bobby, who was about 2 1/2 or 3 years old, was looking at Aunt Francie's stomach with fascination while he was eating his hot dog. Finally, he pointed and asked her "Is the baby in there?" (a question he'd already asked many times, apparently). When she assured him that the baby was there, he leaned over with some of his hot dog, held it two inches from her stomach, and then said, "Are you hungry, baby?"

It was sooo adorable! I mentioned it to him when I last saw him at my sister's wedding. He did the usual oh-god-not-another-baby-story that most men in their mid-30s will do at that point.
