And OMG, I so remember that first trimester of wanting to do nothing but sleep.
When I was expecting Bobby I complained that I was soooooo much more tired than I had been the first time around. The doctor reminded me that I didn't have a toddler to take care of the first time.
So exciting! When the time comes D will enjoy feeling the new baby kick, but get mad when it doesn't kick at his whim.
Whee! More baby Buffistas!
Congratulations on your forthcoming chicken!
I remember when my aunt was pregnant with her second child. We were visiting their house for the day, and during lunch, their son Bobby, who was about 2 1/2 or 3 years old, was looking at Aunt Francie's stomach with fascination while he was eating his hot dog. Finally, he pointed and asked her "Is the baby in there?" (a question he'd already asked many times, apparently). When she assured him that the baby was there, he leaned over with some of his hot dog, held it two inches from her stomach, and then said, "Are you hungry, baby?"
It was sooo adorable! I mentioned it to him when I last saw him at my sister's wedding. He did the usual oh-god-not-another-baby-story that most men in their mid-30s will do at that point.
Congratulations, Jessica!!!!
A little chickie baby for Jess and Ethan and Dylan!
Great grand news. Congratulations!
Congrats Jess and family!!!
Is it weird that Pepperoni Pizza Lean Pockets have become a comfort food for me?
“Lean Pockets are the American empanada!” — Wendy, The Middleman
Since I got run over by the morning sickness truck, my comfort food has been slices of Kraft American Cheese. I'm not proud.
Only those of you of a certain age will like this, but I wanted to mention that the DH and I are going to go see Firesign Theater tonight. They are performing live for the 40th anniversary of Nick Danger.
