Q: How is Benji different from you?
A: I tend not to act or feel or talk in a way that would add anything worthwhile to an extended work of fiction. I tend not to do things that lend themselves to dramatic unity, aesthetic harmony, and narrative discharge. My leitmotifs are crappy. So! I went to jury duty today. Ha ha ha. My panel got called, and I was in voir dire until 6:30pm. I didn't get selected, thank goodness, but I think my current migraine is to do with lack of water and food and STRESS.
Also, my roommate had a pet emergency this evening, AND our landlord wants me to move my car so she can park there next week. The car that currently isn't insured and at least needs a new battery before it runs. Ahahahahaha.
Now, I've procrastinated re: my car for ages because I sometimes SUCK at being a grown up. I guess this means I really should look into a charitable donation, because the thought of dealing with people to sell the car as-is? Probably I'd get arrested, and I don't want to go back to criminal court that soon.

Heeeeeeeeee! ita, so in Sag Harbor, they talk about two black boys who go to a prep school, who are always dressed in Brooks Brothers etc and they talk about how people always assume they are the sons of an African Diplomat, which of course makes me think of you.
