I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

I've gotten more of a sweet tooth since I've lost weight. Mind you, still not much of one and I can easily forgo chocolate (actually, it doesn't sound good to me at all, now that I think of it.) More just that an offering of a cookie doesn't gross me out. As long as it is a cookie with a salty element, like sandies or oatmeal or some buttery cookie. Pure sugar stuff, still a no. Not enough to actually buy or make sweets, though. A carrot of fruit will take care of it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I miss bread too. Good bread. Can't eat a lot of that either, plays havoc with the guts. God, I'm turning into my dad with all his weird food issues. Difference is, I avoid the ones that make me feel like ass.

Our wings are not tired.

My (Toronto-living) cousin brought me icewine for my graduation present. I haven't tried it yet. I did hit BevMo today and managed to spend $200 - it's their 5 cent sale, so I got $400 in value, but still. I comfort myself that it's a third what I spent in February at the 5 cent sale (I was stocking up the new place). This time, no hard liquor, just wine. Someone come over and help me drink it, please?

But what I wanted to say is that Cynthia and I (Toronto cousin) had a really good bottle of Canadian wine that was served to us in the cafe in the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario). I'll have to ask her what it was; we were both so pleasantly surprised by it.

ETA: Oh, as for mac n cheese, many nights a month dinner is a box of either Safeway's "O" (organic) series of mac n cheese, or one of "Amy's" versions mixed with a bag of broccoli. YUM. It's what we had last night, as a matter of fact.
