He is, sara! Mom is Canadian and he got his canadian citiizenship a couple of years ago.
Natter 64: Yes, we still need you
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Will have to call him CanuckChicagoBob!
OK, my house is 66 downstairs. Cats are puffier. I guess I better call about getting my heat turned on, eh? (Going to use home warantee to do a check out, bleed and HOWTHEFUCKTHISWORK visit.)
(Does Canada make any wine?)
Quite a bit, but I don't know how available it is. Don't listen to bon, ice wine is gross.
Congratulations on celebrating Canadian thanksgiving!
I just turned on our heat, here in Sunny! Southern! California! Just to keep the place 70 degrees whilst it is dank and overcast outside.
YMMV on the virtues of ice wine-- it is delicious but very sweet -- but it is a true fact that it is what the Canadian wine industry is known for internationally. Yum.
YAY for good first days! The internets missed you all too!
It's cold here too, and we are supposed to get a big storm tonight and tomorrow.
Icewine is crack. I'm not big on sweet in general, but I can polish off icewine like nobody's business.
Today's forecast didn't have home or work topping 70. Leather jacket and wool pants weather. Uh, all apologies to those with snow. It's just SoCal, you know. My weather widget says it's raining, but the window disagrees.
Icewine from the Okanagan, people. Best shit in the motherfucking WORLD.
For Canadian Thanksgiving, I looked longingly at Canadian Food online. Yesterday, we accidentally had Canadian Thanksgiving-ish dinner with my folks. Oh, and my mother fowarded me a Happy Thanksgiving mail last week.
This was the extent of my Canadian Thanksgiving Experience.
I've yet to have icewine, but it's huge up here, so close to Canada.
I have no tolerance for sweet wines.
