JZ, my brother's oldest son had to be locked in his room to keep him in it. They had to endure lots of nights of pounding and screaming and crying before he learned to stay in bed. He's a terrific 25-year-old today and none the worse for wear.

my boss is gone on vacation. how badly do I want to skip work tomorrow? so very very much, but I really need to save my days now for extermination day and any emergencies the first week of school (dread dread dread).

unfortunately EVERYONE would know if I didn't show up. and ideally I should get through a bunch of the nagging but non-urgent work that I put off. still.
