Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I feel even worse for our Toronto office, who has today off (Happy fucking Thanksgiving, guys!) and are coming to NY tomorrow to basically be told that they're not going to have jobs anymore. HELLO TIMING CLUSTERFUCK.

The good-bad news is that this whole deal doesn't even take effect for 5 months. Good because that's a long time to look for a new job, bad because we're supposed to carry on "business as usual" during that time. Yeah. Right.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ah, Fuck, Jess. I am so sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah, Fuck, Jess. I am so sorry.

That's what I was going to say.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If by "business as usual" they mean frantically trawling monster.com et al I'm sure that's what your office will see.

I'm sorry, Jessica. I hope you end up in a good place at the end of all this.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Shit, I'm sorry to hear that, Jessica. ~ma to you!

Exaaaaaaaactly. I'm sure we'll be seeing many more people showing up in suits and taking suspiscious long lunches over the next few months.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sorry to hear the news, Jess. Transition time isn't much fun, but it's better than collecting unemployment, at least.
