I worked with this guy at Nature's Bakery (an organic whole-grain bakery cooperative) in Madison in '90-'91.

Not out of work yet, but they are closing down this office (along with everywhere else except Europe) and selling the business to an industry partner. Individual meetings throughout the day to discuss our individual fates. (Some redundancies, some kept on in different capacity, some offers to transfer to our new fearless leaders.)
