this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Now I need to start funneling money into a Roth so as to hit $5,000 before April 15, 2010. Also build up the emergency fund more.

And buy a GIANT ROBOT WITH FLAMETHROWER HANDS TO DO MY BIDDING.

Or maybe just some shoes.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Teppy!!!!!

Maybe I should just do some early holiday shopping online.

In my book,that's being productive.

Because books.

Way to go, Tep! Very impressive!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For the first time in my adult life (18 years and up), I am 100% totally completely absolutely DEBT FREE!!!!! I paid off the last bit of my credit card this morning.

Yay Teppy! You are my role model!

(I hope to be in the same position in a year or two, when I pay off the last of my student loans.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Thank god for COMM, which warned me about the placenta discussion, so I could close my eyes and scroll down.

First thing in the morning, people? Really?

“Not dead yet!”

Ugh. I really do hate this part of the recovery process. I'm sore, but not in huge amounts of pain. Probably because I'm taking my pain meds. Which are leaving me loopy. Not so loopy that I want to pass out, but just loopy enough that I can't concentrate on anything.

I feel like my eyes are floating around the perimeter of my head.

And I apologize for the burbling. Just pat me on the head and leave me with a napkin with which I can wipe up the drool.

So awesome Steph!!! That's the kind of thing I like to celebrate by shopping.

I also have negative motivation to work. Esp. since most people are off today, being the Friday before Turkey day.
