I haven't been able to get to bloglines.com for most of the day. It's like my RSS finger is broken and I can't get to all of my blogs by myself. All the cool kids are using Google Reader, aren't they?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah, google reader is better than bloglines -- I can't remember reader ever being unavailable or forgetting your read counts or whatever. ALSO it has a killer app -- feeds aren't marked as read until you actually mouse over them. You can't go back to bloglines once you get used to that.
Damned crashing browser.
It's gonna take bloglines coming up again before I can switch everything over to Google Reader. I've been slow to adopt because I switch back and forth between gmail addresses so much. But now that the job hunt is over I won't be in that address so much.
Which reminds me--I should go deactivate my resume in the job sites I can actually remember signing up for. I'm all over the damned place.
Completely unrelatedly, Southland got axed before any of the episodes even aired. NBC's still trying to work out what it looks like to have no 10pm drama, it seems. Dollhouse will probably go next.
Oh, my. When did it get to be this late? And I have so much to do tomorrow.
Wow. Obama won the Noble Peace Prize. [link]
Now THAT is a surprise. I am sure even to him. Somewhere Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton and gnashing their teeth.
Okay, I love the man, but WTF?
I got the impression it was the Nobel committee's way of saying, "See? If you're not an international asshole you might get nice things," aka, "Thank you for not being Bush."
I have to agree. I like his foreign policy chops so far, better than his domestic performance (I think he's been too timid with Congress); but less than one year into the job, I feel like he's maybe started some promising things but there's not a lot that's actually got very far yet.
