You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei - just a third?

Yeah, I'd say about that. If I break down the drawers, most of my greens are in the deeper range, with about a third in the HELLO, MY NAME IS LIME! I AM YOUR MASTER! category. My purples are almost all deep jewel toned ones, with a small handful of OMG!NEON!!!!ELEVENTY!, and even the neon blues somehow look more classy than trashy.

My reds skew vampy, despite a recent influx of, "Damn it, I need Classic Mustang Red!", my orange drawer is shockingly small (oranges look like a neutral on me, so I'm picky about them), my pinks are generally in the rose family, and the blacks are blacks.

I do have a glitter drawer, but it's only half-full, and it's one drawer out of 11 (the 12th drawer is reserved for treatments and top coats).

The worst part of all this is that I've got in the neighborhood of 500 bottles of polish, and still can't find the shades I want.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

she's...horrifying and awesome to me.

Pretty fair assessment of someone who helped pull a FRELLING movie theater across Scotland.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Plei, I love you.

“Not dead yet!”

Have I mentioned lately how very much I love Plei?

sarameg - Oct 08, 2009 10:54:54 am PDT #12879 of 30001

I heard that snerk.

Plei, and I felt ridiculous savin maybe 10 bottles when culling for the move considering I don't really paint my nails anymore....

OK, I need people to Do Things Now because I am leaving early (having gotten here early) so I can get through the pool before the preteen hoards lessons commence and everyone is dawdling and I'm having to call people to read their damned email and that never was in my job description, now was it? And I'll totally cop to not really accomplishing much today, but when I've been asked, I've been prompt and damnit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hot & sour is definitely a good way to go, although I would not discount the healing properties of tom kha gai!

May I also add the suggestion of pho? With a healthy slug of rooster sauce (yes, I know that the proper name is sirracha (sp?) but, I've called it rooster sauce for years and am not stopping now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, yay! My friend who was looking for a job in Seattle got the job! She'll be moving in less than ten days.

Woo! P-C, has she found a place to rent?

Punishingly Intricate

Tom kha gai and pho w/ lotsa rooster sauce both would be good options. I think the hot and sour worked pretty well. Now I need more tea!
