Hot & sour is definitely a good way to go, although I would not discount the healing properties of tom kha gai!
May I also add the suggestion of pho? With a healthy slug of rooster sauce (yes, I know that the proper name is sirracha (sp?) but, I've called it rooster sauce for years and am not stopping now.
And my damned browser keeps crashing.
Oh, yay! My friend who was looking for a job in Seattle got the job! She'll be moving in less than ten days.
Woo! P-C, has she found a place to rent?
Tom kha gai and pho w/ lotsa rooster sauce both would be good options. I think the hot and sour worked pretty well. Now I need more tea!
Crap, the new Internet blocking list at works blocks LJs and websites that are set to allow adult stuff. I try to open fic links and I get Forbidden! First they take away Facebook, and now I get flagged for going to websites I had no idea have that metadata. Of course, the goal is to keep me off of non-work sites completely, but dammit, I'm at lunch!
I just did an hour and a half on government websites. Good times...
Woo! P-C, has she found a place to rent?
I don't think so, since she just found out about the job and wasn't even expecting to hear from them. It's a temp position, but it's essentially temp-to-perm even if not for that position.
Plei, her office is a few blocks from Denny Park...Google says that's Belltown?

It could be? (Everything's a few blocks from everything else!)
Any recommendations on where to look for a place?
