I have an appointment in Ellicott City at noon. Not sure how I'm going to get west of the route (course actually runs right by me, up to the lake I go to.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am literal;ly falling asleep at my desk! I can't do that. My killer show is opening tonight, we are not done, and I am at my regular job until 5:00 pm. I have actually nodded off three times while typing this!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, thank god. My background check is finally complete. I'm not sure what I expected to go wrong, but I was certainly paranoid. Now all I'm waiting for is the precise when and where instructions for Monday morning.

Hey, Dana, do you start this Monday too? And quester? Not a bad morning for buffistas.

Opera spell-check suggests replacing buffistas with fabulists. How bad a typist would I have to be to be that wrong?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Can't see the picture at work, but will need to check it out at home.

Do cats get allergies?

Yes. Mine has them. But his manifest by licking the fur off his tummy and getting the occassional ear infection.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh my god, I think saturday's marathon is going to make getting out of the city a nightmare.

Probably. Especially since the Baltimore Comic-Con is this weekend. And then there's the Poe stuff.

I'd give a shiny nickle to anyone from the Baltimore Comic-con who ran the marathon as Poe's raven (with or without steampunk goggles).

WAKE UP SOPHIA!!

Can you at least call out sick from your job tomorrow and sleep?

Dana - Oct 08, 2009 7:43:23 am PDT #12838 of 30001
I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Hey, Dana, do you start this Monday too?

I do, having finally signed the paperwork yesterday.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay for ita's job working out!!

I took Amarna into the vet this morning for a checkup and clawtrimming, and I wanted to get her weighed since it's been about 5 weeks since I changed her food. I know she's less bulky, so I was guessing she'd probably lost at least 1 to 2 pounds. Turns out it's only 1 ounce!! She's still at 13 lbs., 2 ounces. But, she's so much smaller, that the fat has to be converting into muscle. Here's hoping that she'll be smaller when I take her back for her next trimming in six weeks. The vet said she wanted to see Amarna at around 11 pounds eventually, and I really thought she'd be close to that already.

WAKE UP SOPHIA!!

Thanks!

Can you at least call out sick from your job tomorrow and sleep?

No, it is my boss' last day before vacation and we are really fragmented. I am not going to go to opening night, which is pretty lame, but I am pretty sure I would fall asleep during the performance, and since that has already happened to me once....
