Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

WAKE UP SOPHIA!!

Thanks!

Can you at least call out sick from your job tomorrow and sleep?

No, it is my boss' last day before vacation and we are really fragmented. I am not going to go to opening night, which is pretty lame, but I am pretty sure I would fall asleep during the performance, and since that has already happened to me once....

Getting out of town should be doable Saturday but you may have to go not your usual way. Up and around rather than straight through.

I'm sad I'm not participating in the marathon this year. Usually I do the 1/2 in my mostly walking half assed way. It's so fun (if painful). but my family from NC was going to be in town this weekend and I wasn't sure exactly when so I couldn't plan to marathon. They'll be here tomorrow though, mostly. We're going to the aquarium and I'm hoping getting downtown to get there tomorrow won't be a cluster. We do have tix reserved at least. Dolphin show!

JenP, I'm so behind here! But happy birthday and I'm happy to provide any help I can with the apartment search! The place east of MLK could be interesting. Lots going on down there. Sketchy neighborhoods pretty close by though. You might want to email me if you have more places to check out since I've been, like i said, so behind here. I'm only catching up today because i'm home trying to get over a stupid cold before my family descends tomorrow.

lisah, where's your family from?

They are in Raleigh. My brother and wife and three kidlings. We're from DE and my SiL is from NJ originally but her whole (huge, 7 sisters) family moved to NC (Greensboro) back in the early 90s when her dad got transfered down there. She and my brother followed so they could finish up school in Charlotte then he went to Law School at UNC. Once he passed the NC bar he was like "We are never moving from this state. I'm not taking the bar again!"

I lived in G'boro for a couple of years for grad school and try to go down there as often as I can. Which hasn't been nearly enough in the last couple of years. I haven't seen them since last Thanksgiving. So wrong!

Apartment Vacancies Hit a 23-Year High:

U.S. apartment vacancies rose to 7.8 percent in the third quarter, the highest since 1986, as rising unemployment reduced rental demand, Reis Inc. said.

Actual rents paid by tenants, known as effective rents, declined 2.7 percent from a year earlier, the New York-based property research firm said in a report today. Asking rents, or what landlords sought, fell 1.8 percent from a year earlier.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You clearly owe your bro a visit. During which we will dominate all your free time!

Does anyone know about this: The Cure: A rock and roll fable ??

Turns out the cousin of a co-worker is involved so now I want to know more. I'm SURE it must have been discussed here somewhere. Can anyone point me to the right thread/place?

Thanks!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shari! I don't have any information, but want to acknowledge your non-lurking....

Thanks, Jesse. I think I'm going to have to edit my profile, which currently refers to my "once-yearly posts". I'm becoming downright loquacious.
