Travers: Perhaps you'll favor us with a demonstration while we're here. Buffy: You mean, like, right now? 'Cause, already had my recommended daily dose of fights tonight.

Not me. Morena Baccarin is the evil brunette alien. Huh.

I think Tim Minear is involed in it, so that gives me hope. Or I'm making that up, but I don't think so. I loved that show, too.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They've already halted production on V and had a retooling.

Morena looks great though.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Doesn't it start airing in a month?

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Happy Birthday, Jen!

F2F in Memphis?

I'd advise against it, and not just because Mayor McMunchies doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected. The crime and poor public transit problems still make it a less than ideal candidate.

On the plus side, County Mayor A.C. Wharton is far and away the most capable and respected politician in the county, and has something like a 30-point lead. I wish I'd had a chance to vote him into office when I lived there.

I've always thought it lives up to the hype. But semisweet rosewater or anise suit me a lot better than chocolate.

My 81 y.-o. mother texted me a happy birthday message. Oh, brave new world. (She called, too, but that is comparatively less remarkable).

ETA: Thanks, Matt!

Now that the weather is turning colder, I've decided I should get a hat. I think I want a fedora, but I must pause and consider if I can carry it off.

The "s" word was mentioned in the weekend forecast.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My 81 y.-o. mother texted me a happy birthday message. Oh, brave new world.

That's bonkers. My parents would not know a text if it was mailed to them on paper.

Right? It's both awesome and mind boggling. This from a woman who refused for YEARS to get an answering machine.

Also,

My parents would not know a text if it was mailed to them on paper.

Hee.
