Has anyone ever noticed that whenever we talk about meals, Dana's are always both good and healthy and home-cooked? I think I want Dana to come to my house and take care of me.
Yes, and yes.
In other food news, there's a Trader Joe's in my new neighborhood!
Man, I miss Trader Joe's. Our dinner was a simple sausage, fideo, and tomato sauce mix. Nothing green. Bad mom.
I had a salad (romaine lettuce, olives, croutons, spicy blue cheese dressing), some left over potatoes au gratin, and white wine.
Dinner is airport-been-sitting potstickers over rice with a vitamin water. Snickers for dessert. On a plane leaving in a moment. Wheeeeeee.
I have pasta shells at home that I can boil and cover in basil tomato sauce, but I am tempted to go the TV dinner route to save time and effort. (And get a vegetable or two, since the only such in my house except for white rice are contained in said TV dinners.)
NEVER NAME ONE LOKI.
Self. Fulfilling. Prophecy.
Perkins, what was the name of that kobe beef dish we didn't order in Vegas?
The lemon chicken & orzo soup was good reheated, but man, the grilled cheese sandwich on rye with tomato and a dash of bacon? Pretty damn tasty.
I had carrots and hummus as an appetizer, and am heating up TJ taquitos for dinner.
It will do, but it ain't sushi or Thai food.

I think you mean Carpaccio
I had three Town House crackers. Pretty much all I can tolerate at the moment.
That's it! I was dreaming of what to order next time we're there.
