There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

Because books.

That's cause it is AWESOME.

I lived on them during the first half of my pregnancy with Jake.

Of course, those who know Jake can take that as you will.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well, I used to really dislike peanut butter.

You know, I understand each word individually, but I can't comprehend it as a sentence.

It's like there's an Oxford comma in there. Quick, tommy!! Put in a semi-colon so we understand it!

My mother wouldn't let peanut butter into the house she so hated the smell.

I've made up for it since.

But nothing erases the shame of having to bring pâté sandwiches to school.

and I'm with sara and amych. And if I do have to sell it on retirement -- there is still a bunch of cash all at once that I would have.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But nothing erases the shame of having to bring pâté sandwiches to school.

Oh my.

Oh, I don't think I've told this story. In 8th grade, we took a class trip at the end of the year to Madison. My mom let me make my own sandwich. I made an egg salad and sardine sandwich.

No, I don't know what I was thinking. I ended up throwing the sandwich into the bushes on the Capital Square.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had some excellent food this weekend -- including cupcakes! -- made by my mother. Also found an apartment and had two job interviews. Good times. I'm so effing tired now, I can't believe I'm supposed to go to work tomorrow. God forbid I should sleep on the train! Or past 6:30 at my parents' house.

I used to make liverwurst and onion sandwiches for myself. On whole wheat. There was a reason I was considered one of the weird kids. Did it to myself.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I love liverwurst sanwiches, on a nice grainy bread with muenster cheese, lettuce, and mustard.
