For the enchilada recipe, I use picante sauce (like Pace) or just plain old salsa. I'm really lax about adhering to recipes. Except for baking, but that's a whole different thing. You fuck with baked-good recipes and it just leads to tears.

Oh, I don't think I've told this story. In 8th grade, we took a class trip at the end of the year to Madison. My mom let me make my own sandwich. I made an egg salad and sardine sandwich.
No, I don't know what I was thinking. I ended up throwing the sandwich into the bushes on the Capital Square.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I had some excellent food this weekend -- including cupcakes! -- made by my mother. Also found an apartment and had two job interviews. Good times. I'm so effing tired now, I can't believe I'm supposed to go to work tomorrow. God forbid I should sleep on the train! Or past 6:30 at my parents' house.
