Gracie is such a big girl, and so delighted to be walking and seeing properly! And Liv is just a gorgeous young lady. This picture of Ryan is cracking me up; that's just so exactly a billytea expression.
Matilda update: She is in love with the toddler makeup kit my dad got her, and spends much of the day with sparkly lips and big shimmery pink blotches all over her face, making concerned moues at herself in a Sephora pocket mirror I lent her. She explained very seriously to me yesterday, while glittering up my lips with blueberry gloss, "I like to have lots of lipsticks on my lips, because it makes me more happy." Sigh.

That was highly entertaining. I did not know Tycho Brahe had a drunken moose. Silver nose, yes. Moose? No.

To be fair, one of the people who swears that Edison stole all those patents was Tesla, who was, as they point out, crazy. Brilliant, but crazy.
They fail to point out that the major battle Jackson won occurred after the war was over. I don't really think Jackson was crazy in the sense of the other nine. Mean, vindictive, really touchy and a horrible president, but not certifiable.

Ooh, I want this, even though I don't need it:
Heh. I didn't even have to click on tommy's link to know exactly what he was talking about. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and have been lusting mightily since then even though I don't need it either and it's completely impractical for my uses. But still... steamer trunk!
Cereal:
This is the light fixture Abby has chosen for her room, should we get the Seattle house we want.
This is the room:
It was photographed with a fairly plain light fixture, but when we saw it, there was no fixture at all and a note in the seller's disclosure that they would be replacing it.
This is choice #2:
Subtle, she ain't.
Liv is such a cutie! As is Ryan. Mmmm. Buffista babies always make me want to have more babies.
