Heh. I didn't even have to click on tommy's link to know exactly what he was talking about. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and have been lusting mightily since then even though I don't need it either and it's completely impractical for my uses. But still... steamer trunk!

It was photographed with a fairly plain light fixture, but when we saw it, there was no fixture at all and a note in the seller's disclosure that they would be replacing it.

god, I remember when we got new light fixtures for a new house when we were kids. round globes that were flush to the ceiling that probably cost $20, my parents were not so much interested in the giant chrome things I wanted.
You know, she's so agreeable and mellow, she probably wouldn't care much. But I really like allowing the kids to have input and allow them to express themselves in their living spaces.
