Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

It's cold and dreary out, I'm exhausted, and I just want to go home, curl up under my afghan, and fall asleep.

Yet, I am here at work, trying to get through regulations without dozing off at my desk.

Soooooo sleeeeeeepppppyyyyyyy...

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

omg, I am Kathy. (except I am working on meeting minutes).

I have to leave for a rushed out of office errand in about 15 minutes, then afterwork errands - Friday night being the late night is necessary, but no good when I'm tired. season change/earlier darkness is not helping.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So I was looking at this drawing Lillian did: [link]

And it suddenly occurred to me that, heh, it looks a LOT like Salon's artistic representation of Glenn Greenwald: [link]

I suspect my mother was mistaken for my grandmother often, and my sister for my mother. Not sure which of them would have been most put out by it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My condolences to thems what's having a bad Friday.

I had a hair cut yesterday, first time in over 8 weeks. Yay! Now I have a shiny new bob.

::exchanges a bleary-eyed high-five with msbelle::

The first batch of people have already left for the day (those who come in at 7:00 and can therefore leave at 3:00). I'm with the late bunch, so I have to stay until at least 5:30, 137 minutes from now. Ugh.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

From the Shit I didn't say file: So now you've decided that even pretending to care about doing your job is too much trouble?

Isn't that Special at least for the rest of us who have to pick up the slack.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My manager let me work from home this afternoon, so technically I left for the day at 11:45 am. But I still did work and I'll have my work email open for another half an hour. It's a lot more fun to monitor the email inbox from my couch than my desk.

hip deep in pie

The UPS saga continues...they attempted delivery at my home. Monday I am sure it will be delivered to work...since I am off that day.
