My manager let me work from home this afternoon, so technically I left for the day at 11:45 am. But I still did work and I'll have my work email open for another half an hour. It's a lot more fun to monitor the email inbox from my couch than my desk.

The UPS saga continues...they attempted delivery at my home. Monday I am sure it will be delivered to work...since I am off that day.
79 more minutes to go...
Timelies all!
Once G gets home from work, we pack up the car and head to the FSGW getaway. Lots of music, yay!
I hate covering my coworker's job. I'm always worried that I'm going to screw it up and potentially lose a client.
Plei, I don't even have to check Salon's page, that tiger DOES look like Glenn Greenwald!
Whew. Made it dwntwn to the laywer and back to the village before the babysitter got there with mac.
Witnessed several noodleheaded non-mta savvy folks waiting for mac. One lady exited the platform area to find out what train would take her to lexington ave. She first blocked other people exiting, then seemesd confused when I asked her where on lex she wanted to go. Finally she understands and I tell her the train she needs that is at this station. She stands there puzzled, then goes over to look at the map and asks me again. So I show her on the map. This train, point point. She asks about another train and I tell her it is not at this station. Then she wants to know how often the train I am suggesting runs seems dubious to the idea thta since it is rush hour all trains are just a few minutes apart. Finally she just leaves the station. Crazy old lady except not really, just refusing to take the info given. I bet she took a cab.
Screw this, I'm going home in a few minutes. Everyone else is out of here.
go home Kathy!
