Somebody buzzed my apartment and told me something about somebody being parked in a spot and that I might want to check it out, but I only heard part of what he was trying to tell me. And when I said, "I'm sorry, what?" he was all, "Ah, forget it." Now I'm disturbed and wondering what the hell that was all about. A neighbor would have knocked.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The to do was that there wasn't any/enough/the right men auditioning, so they begged and borrowed and stole, and then cast a woman as Danton who didn't even audition! And then she quit because she was told she couldn't go home over Thanksgiving.

hip deep in pie

Well that sounds about right.

David can come across as a bit blunt, because he's pretty logic-based, but he's really a decent guy. I used to stage manage for him when we were just out of university.

Perhaps I should have explained to the dude that I'm very tired and very full and had several caipirinhas at dinner, so if he could restate the problem, that would be nice. I guess now I'll never know.

Um, I'm sorry? And really glad I don't know the song!

I only met him for 5 seconds before he went into auditions! But logic is good. He is probably better off without this girl. Being asked to play a man when she didn't audition was going to her head a bit, and now he wil have someone who actualy wants the role and is willing to work really hard, even if it is a stretch.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This discussion for some reason has me clicking around Godspell videos on YouTube. Which is a bad thing, because that makes me want to dance, and I have already learned this week, that I cannot be trusted to dance without hurting my ankle.

Here is the dadgum guv'ment song (but it is really bad! John Goodman does a much better job, but this is the only one I canfind except for one that seems to take the song as a serious indictment of the Obama/Biden administration

ETA: This one is a bit better, and it has the added hilarity of the stage crew walking through the curtains with chairs!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Werthmann explained how universal healthcare, an Equal Rights Amendment, and increased taxes were telltale signs of Nazism.

Also a sign of much of modern Europe. Including Britain.

Sigh.
