Well that sounds about right.
David can come across as a bit blunt, because he's pretty logic-based, but he's really a decent guy. I used to stage manage for him when we were just out of university.
Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

I only met him for 5 seconds before he went into auditions! But logic is good. He is probably better off without this girl. Being asked to play a man when she didn't audition was going to her head a bit, and now he wil have someone who actualy wants the role and is willing to work really hard, even if it is a stretch.

Here is the dadgum guv'ment song (but it is really bad! John Goodman does a much better job, but this is the only one I canfind except for one that seems to take the song as a serious indictment of the Obama/Biden administration
