What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Thanks, Ginger. Someone else has already offered, though, so I'm covered.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I started sorting through some of my files to see what I can get rid of. A newsletter was stuck to one of my files that must have come with my filing cabinet. It the International Financial News Survey, published by the International Monetary Fund, from December 21, 1956.

A Christian woman who grew up in Austria tells the How to Take Back America conference how Obama is just like Hitler. [link]

During her session, Werthmann went through a litany of examples of how President Obama is like Adolf Hitler. She noted that Hitler, who acted “like an American politician,” was “elected in a 100% Christian nation.” Although she failed to once mention Antisemitism or militarism, Werthmann explained how universal healthcare, an Equal Rights Amendment, and increased taxes were telltale signs of Nazism.

Hee--I love the Onion!

I picked up a print edition today! So funny. I should subscribe so I could feel like I'm getting an actual paper.

Is the point to be so absurd that there is no way to even start to argue against the logic?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

According to a recent poll, 39% of Americans think "the government should stay out of Medicare."

That's a very poorly worded survey question. The options were Yes, No, and Not Sure. But there's no right answer. An answer of "Yes" could mean that the government should not interfere with Medicare, which you believe is not a government program, or it could mean that you understand that it is a government program but you believe it should not be.

If the question were "Is Medicare a government program?" then we would actually be learning something.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Well thank doG we don't have an Equal Rights Amendment, then.

Signed,

Yes, still bitter.

I wonder if those people make any distinction between socialism and naziism.
