"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Gah, I drew 24 illustrations today and laid them out as two foldable booklets. I am really about ready to have a weekend that's not all spent at the office.

I'm sure the results will be awesome!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Good morning!

I'm in one of those still-in-bed-but-should-get-up-soon, let's-pet-the-cat-and-get-caught-up-online modes....

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac's childcare for today called me yesterday EVENING today enough kids had not signed up. WTF!?!?! So I was gonna log in from home and work, but I can't get my remote access to work. Now I am taking the computer in to get it looked at and working, grabbing some work and coming back home. I am also gonna hope for an afternoon nap. STupidly I emailed my boss the situation last night instead of just calling in sick today.

That's bonkers. I remember just having a couple of kids on odd no-school days when I worked at the afterschool place. They just had fewer of the part-time people around.

yeah, I think I have to talk to someone. I mean, sure, I had not signed him up until Saturday, but I kinda feel by then that they should have made the yay or nay call already. Still, not the end of the world, just inconvenient.

ION, I got mac Walter the Farting Dog yesterday and we read it last night. good times.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

And people wonder why we need a new health care system:

Nancy Clinton got a surprise when she called her health insurance company recently. She was calling to ask about a benefit issue, and she said that as long as she was on the line, the company might as well note her new ZIP code: 80504.

"So, she went in and came back and said, 'Oh, this is going to significantly increase your premium,'" Clinton said Friday...

Clinton's was one of 8,610 northeast Longmont addresses that had their ZIP codes changed to 80504 from 80501 on July 1.

"Our health insurance would go up about $60 a month," Clinton said. "I didn't move, and the hospital didn't move."
