Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Did you hear the one about the woman whose breast was bleeding, and her claim was denied, because she "should have known it wasn't an emergency and shouldn't have gone to the ER"?
Well, with lots of media attention her insurance company decided to pay the claim anyway.
Yeah, Right: Baby’s Chewbacca Costume
Yeah. So, this is supposedly a baby’s Chewbacca costume.
But clearly we are looking at a Fraggle groomed like a French poodle. Who happens to be carrying Chewbacca’s satchel.
Bottom line: the prolific licensing arm of LucasFilm continues to love and respect you.
Emaryn had a soccer game and their team lost 5-1. They have a lot of first time soccer players on their team so it's difficult. On the positive side Emaryn scored the goal. I think her team has scored 3 goals so far this season and Emaryn has accounted for two of them.

Not totally worksafe, as the word "shit" occurs at least twice.

This week, the line between nightmare and deeply wished for dream gets crossed by musician Jay Reatard in his new music video for "It Ain't Gonna Save Me," from his album Watch Me Fall. Why do I say this? Because most of the people I know probably would have loved to have their kids party go apeshit with a werewolf, water balloons, and ripping the arm off a walkaround character. And kung fu vs. a clown? Nobody hasn't devoutly wished for that. Nobody.

flea, yes we do. he has read almost all of it, or had it read to him. ANd he likes the author's other series, Ricky Ricotta, also. It does not have the same potty humor, though. In teh same vein, he has discovered the Stink books.
so we have been in to work, got the remote access working, grabbed some stuff of my desk and am home. mac has to entertain himself for an hour and a half, then we will break for lunch. I am hoping I can plow through a lot in that time. An afternoon nap would be really extremely nice.
