Or unless cultural appropriation is the topic.
Isn't that one of the perks?
Dollhouse is back tonight! In unrelated TV news, and in news of a show I don't even watch, Mischa Barton's new show has been cancelled after two episodes. Oops. If she didn't actually have a nervous breakdown beforehand now might be a good time.
Just saw pictures of a childhood friend-amily. Good god, one of them was the spitting image of his dad! Kid was the first projectile vomit I had to deal with. Sadly, that's how I'll always recall him, even though he's all grown up and ridiculously attractive and married now.
This weekend
dance around on my new patio

and work on the garden.
See some friends
fog fest!
Mischa Barton's new show has been cancelled after two episodes. Oops.
I guess they can take down the parking notices all around my neighborhood, then?
This Weekend: Matilda's birthday tomorrow! She's Three!
It'll be a reunion of her daycare friends who have moved on to preschool before her.
She got some presents today and is thoroughly jazzed.
I was just looking up "St. James Infirmary" (because we're watching Betty Boop) and there's this notice:
Hugh Laurie performed a shortened version of the song on The Jay Leno Show broadcast September 25, 2009 as part of the "Earn Your Plug" segment.
That's tonight. So if you want to see House sing the Blues, tune in.
Hair dye-ers: it's been a dozen years since I did this, do I have to give up my swim the 24 hours within I dye or can I just condition heavily? The former just won't happen, so it is a matter of timing.
I am not sure that Matilda is allowed to turn three
I hung a u-ey today. Although I've never before thought about the spelling of it. I'd have spelt it uie, probably.
I hung it on the way to the salon. Today was our 16th anniversary! So I had a very good coffee, got my hair cut, we went to the matinee of Fame, bought birdseed, and had an excellent steak dinner.
Fame was fun, particularly as an arts teacher, but I thought
it got bogged down some and maybe had too big a cast. They tried to do too much within too short a time, I think. It would have worked great as a teevee show season.
However, and this is not a spoiler I don't think, the actual performances were great. Which is mostly what I went for, anyway.
Although I'm sure to kat perez's dismay there was definitely a goodish amount of
Kherington hair-flinging.
Hee.
The rest of the weekend will be pretty anticlimactic. We're playing on Saturday, of course, but it's with an entirely different line-up as half the band is in Phoenix. And they're doing a craft fair in the building until four. We start rehearsal at five thirty with a completely rearranged room. Furthermore, there is a car show about a mile away. I predict mass chaos.
However, the cars are awesome. Gave me a crick in my neck, though; there are some cars I can't help looking at while they go by. I'm like a guy walking into a pole watching a hot girl. Some of them are just so cool to look at.
