Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Rather than use my energy to scream at him and his ilk, I just write bigger checks to my church that has a dedicated LGBT ministry and is not afraid to say from the pulpit and broadcast over internet and airwaves that all are welcome in God's house.

I'm involved in a pan-church organization for LGBT people, for very similar reasons. I have neither time nor energy for these idiots. Not even just because of their dodgy theology. Their 'psychology' and research methodology leave a lot to be desired too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is that a bump on your forehead, or are you just happy to see me?

Ghostshark has Sex Organ on Head

A newly-identified species of ghostshark has been found living off the coast of California. The Eastern Pacific black ghostshark also exists in museums, but has only recently been named as a distinct species, says Douglas Long, natural science curator at the Oakland Museum of California.

Chimeras display some unusual features not seen in other living animals, Long said.

Male chimeras, for example, have retractable sexual appendages sprouting from their foreheads. These organs, which resemble a spiked club at the end of a stalk, may be used to stimulate a female or to pull her closer—though these are still assumptions, Long said.

Now tagless for your comfort.

::loves msbelle::

I usually go into a blinding rage when I read Dobson's bullshit.

Today is Wednesday, which means I get 2 1/2 hours to do whatever I want while BOTH kids are in school. Of course "whatever I want" is translated into "whatever I can get done" and that means the grocery store.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Great, now I have to explain to my boss why I'm shaking my head at the screen and muttering "WHOSE A SWEEPY WIDDLE BAT? YOU ARE! YOU ARE!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"WHOSE A SWEEPY WIDDLE BAT? YOU ARE! YOU ARE!"

Hee!

Our wings are not tired.

I usually go into a blinding rage when I read Dobson's bullshit.

I started to go at it point by absurd point but I was getting more upset than I should. I think I shall admire an itty bitty bat instead.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've been reading through the Slacktivist's deconstruction of the Left Behind book for the past week (it's very long, he's been writing weekly on it for the past 4 years) so it's enlightened me a lot about the wrong-headed theology/mindset that goes into people like Dobson and LaHaye.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That little bat is adorable.

I have 15 minutes where Noah is entertaining himself. Instead of cleaning, as I desperately need to do, I'm just sitting on the couch.

I have never been so tired.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Me too! I just finished reading all his Left Behind posts yesterday. It's an absolutely brilliant, spot-on deconstruction of the theology/soteriology, as well as lambasting the execrable writing.
